John Comerford

John Comerford is Head of Naked West our regional base - where he is an Executive Producer on an array of popular factual and lifestyle brands including the BAFTA winning Grand Designs (Channel 4), Michael Portillo’s Great Railway Journeys (BBC Two), Escape to the Country (BBC One) and Charlie Cooper’s Myth Country (BBC Three).

John has also been an EP on a range of other Fremantle factual brands including Channel 4’s House of the Year, Four Rooms and How Clean is your House, ITV’s Wish You Were Here, Channel 5’s House Doctor and Farmer Wants a Wife, and UKTV’s Love the Place You’re In.

Prior to joining Fremantle, John was an Executive Producer at the BBC where he produced a variety of programmes spanning factual, documentary and children’s - from household favourite Blue Peter through to the iconic Airport.

Yet to make his own escape to the country, John does have an eye on creating his own grand design one day. In the meantime, he’s a keen traveller, a theatre and music nut, and loves a country walk - preferably close to a pub.
