5 Star returns to 100% Hotter
Viacom’s 5 Star has ordered a second series of 100% Hotter, the debut show from Simon Andreae’s Fremantle-backed Naked Entertainment.
The make-under programme, which debuted on Channel 5’s sister channel in June, finds a team of style experts toning down the extreme looks of fashion-challenged contestants, and gauging public reactions.
The hour-long show pulled in an average of 124,000 (0.6%) across its 10-episodes, comfortably above the channel’s Wednesday 8pm slot average of 91,000 (0.4%).
5 Star rebranded earlier this year to focus more firmly on younger audiences, commissioning series including Boomerang’s Strip Date and Crackit Productions’ Sex Pod.
The second series of 100% Hotter was commissioned for 5 Star by channel manager Sebastian Cardwell. Naked Entertainment’s Simon Andreae and Matthew Cox will executive produce.
Production begins later this month ahead of an early 2017 TX.
